Slime Cake! 1 month of learning unity from scratch

Hello! This is my first ever game uploaded and my first ever devlog also!

Honestly not too sure what to write here but I'll write as much as I can!

About the game

I started learning unity about a month ago, and during the 1st week or so was just thinking of any idea for a game that would be interesting. Seeing and playing some puzzle games (most notably 'Baba is You') I was motivated to making a puzzle game with a simple yet capable of creating very complex puzzle designs. This was when I thought of the mechanic for this game, where movement and order of food and their usage matters.

About me

I'm a 2nd year college student who's currently on a break. Since I had a lot of free time recently, I started learning unity sometime mid November about a month ago, messing around with settings and things and just overall getting used to the editor (I have no experience in game making prior to this game so this was very important for me). After I got the idea for the game about a week after, I started making early prototypes for the game.

What's next?

Although I have few other really good puzzle game ideas, I want to work on this game until at least a minimum of 100 levels, more themed levels, and better balance of difficulty (if you played the game,  you'll know that difficulty increases at a VERY FAST rate around level14). Honestly that might've been the hardest part in the making of this puzzle game, balancing the difficulty, which is why I'm going to take some time to add some easier levels between the harder levels, and wait for some feedbacks to see what I could do other than that.

There's more ability/food ideas to keep the upcoming puzzles unique and refreshing so that should be interesting!

I think I learned a lot during this month and I know for sure that everything I add to the game from now on will be much more refined in code compared to before! And obviously there's some bugs to fix, like the settings buttons not properly working etc etc.

If there's any feedbacks for the game let me know!

I will also post a walkthrough for all levels probably because difficulty spikes too fast with only 24 levels atm.
